As a member of the Canada Green Building Council, Monteith is qualified to construct a building meeting LEED certification criteria.  It is advantageous to an Owner to have a contractor who is familiar with LEED certification as there are many credits available that are highly dependant on the contractor’s understanding of the Green Building Rating System. Monteith is also able to provide an Accredited Green Professional who will manage the process of obtaining LEED credits.  As an informed contractor, Monteith is able to assist the Consultant in providing documentation of credits as well as implementing a construction process that will maximize the LEED rating for the building.
